Heaven called home another sweet angel from our family. Barb was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Barb was always cheerful, had genuine character and a loving spirit. Barb was funny to be around in a way she didn’t mean to be, as it was just her nature. She was just darn cute! From her silly faces to the little silk scarves around her hair, she was a cutie pie. She had a genuine innocence and a love for all birds, but she especially cherished hummingbirds. Her house had a little bit of Christmas magic sprinkled throughout all year long like her spirit, her house was welcoming, and the candy bowl was always full and ready to share with you when you stopped by.
She was a homemaker and shared 31 happy years with her husband, Emerson Garver. They enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; Puzzles, the TV show ‘Wheel of Fortune’, Thomas Kinkade artwork, and visiting the McCarty Senior Center and local restaurants. Barb was highly spiritual and loved singing, especially religious hymnals. She was faithful, honest, and pure of heart. She was quick to forgive and only had the best of things to say about you. She was supportive and loving of her family and had the most wholesome demeanor. She was a giving person and consistently donated to many causes throughout the years. She and Em helped many people that were experiencing times of hardship to get back on their feet.
Your family is so thankful for our memories together and that you are at peace.
