Delta Anne (Easton) King of Marshfield, MO was born February 25, 1941, to Dr. Gail Raymond and Martha Carolyn Easton in Weaubeau, MO. She departed this life on October 5, 2026 at Webco Manor, Marshfield, MO, at the age of 85.
Delta moved to Kansas City after graduating from Weaubleau High School where she met the love of her life, Carroll King. They married on June 17, 1961. From this union two daughters were born.
Delta and Carroll spent many years together as owner operators of two restaurants: Doc & Myrt’s in Pittsburg, MO and GailAnnes in Marshfield MO. Prior to restaurant life they were partners in a fence company in Belton, MO. They missed the outdoor work and opened Delta’s Fence Co in Marshfield. Although Delta lost Carroll at a young age, they were blessed to see all six of their grandchildren born. Our mother’s greatest love was being able to hold al fifteen of her great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed the years traveling with her good friend Warren. She also spent her time throughout the years crocheting many beautiful doilies and sewing dresses for her daughters and granddaughters. The past few years she had a passion for Carmet Moolattes!
Delta is preceded in death by her husband Carroll, parents Dr. Gail R. and Martha Carolyn Easton, and good friend Warren Squibb.
