Gerald “Jerry” Vincent Smith age 70, of Wheatland, Mo sadly passed away Aug. 24, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. Jerry the son of Russell Lee Smith and Norma Mae (Bodenhamer) Smith was born Nov. 11, 1955 in K.C., Mo. Jerry left behind his girlfirend Krissy Brackett, sister Sally Johnson, brother Russell Smith, grandson James Pearson, granddaughter Stephanie Fox, many nieces, nephews and way too many friends to count. He graduated from Reeds Spring High School in 1973, became a truck driver and was a truck driver for many years. In his latter years he also worked for Hermitage Schools and was a big part of starting up the Barn Lot with his friend Chan Pearson. Jerry was an honest, delightful and true to his word kind of man, was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by us all. Rest in peace, my friend.
