Three area boys basketball teams have advance to the MSSHAA championshiups following vicotires in quarter-final games Friday, March 7.
In Class 1, The St. Elizabeth Hornets came form behind to defeat No. 2 ranked Green City 68-66.
Also in class 1, Wheatland defeated McCauley Catholic 36-28.
In Class 2, No, 1-ranked Eugene Walloped Blue Eye 81-31.
The Class 1 pairings in the state semi-finals are as follows:
(1) Chadwick vs. (7) Wheatland, 2 p.m. Friday, March 14
(10) St. Elizabeth vs. (NR) Braymer, 4 p.m.. Friday, March 14
The third place game is set for noon Saturday, March 15; with the championship game at 6 p.m.
All games will be played at the Mizzou Arena.
Class 2 matchups are not set as of yet.
