The Hickory County Sheriff’s office can confirm that the body of a deceased elderly male was found in a business parking lot early Friday, Jan. 10.
An investigation has been conducted by Hickory County Sheriff Greg Burke and the Hickory County Coroner, which determined that a 77-year old Hispanic male was located near a Nemo business at 6:30 a.m. with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The man’s death has been ruled a suicide, and his name has not been released to the public.
This is an ongoing investigation.
