Due to a continuing decrease in membership, it has been decided that Hermitage Masonic Lodge #288 near Hermitage and Hogles Creek Masonic Lodge #279 near Quincy will merge.
This proposal had been discussed a while and the members of both lodges recently unanimously voted in favor of the action. HM #288 Worshipful Master Jerry Lightfoot has called a special meeting of all brethren for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Hermitage Lodge. During this meeting, a new line of officers will be elected for the merged organization.
